Making this video was a really enjoyable experience, but it came with its own set of challenges. Having experience filming others made shooting myself feel quite different and surprisingly more difficult. I needed several takes because I wasn’t happy with how I looked or sounded, which made the process a bit stressful.
After finally finding the right angle, I ran into lighting issues—my apartment only has warm lights that aren’t bright enough to clearly illuminate my face. It took more time than expected to get both the angle and lighting right. However, once I moved to the editing stage, things became much smoother. Because I had a clear script and rundown, editing felt organized and efficient.
Next time, I would like to use better lighting equipment and a tripod for more stable shots. I also hope to experiment with new effects and transitions to make my video more dynamic.
